CTET JULY 2023 NOTIFICATION

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct 17th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) in CBT (Computer Based Test - Online) mode between July, 2023 to August, 2023. 

 

The exact date of examination will be mentioned on the admit cards of the candidates. The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will be available on CTET official website: https://ctet.nic.in

LANGUAGE OFTHE QUESTION PAPER:

 Main question paper shall be Bilingual (Hindi/English).

QUALIFYING MARKS AND AWARD OF CTET CERTIFICATE 

As per NCTE Notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass. 

(a) School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST,OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy. 

 Examination Centres:

The candidates must note that the examination city of their choice will be allotted on the first come first served basis only as per availability of capacity in the city of examination. The candidates, who complete the online application process and pay the fee on first come first served basis, will be allotted the examination city of their choice as per availability in that particular city. The total capacity in a particular city will also be available on the portal. If the total capacity of a particular city is full during completion of application process or making payment of examination fee or updation of transaction on portal, the candidate will be given the option either to select any other city of examination or cancel the transaction. If a candidate cancels the transaction, full fee will be refunded to his /her account as per mode of payment and application will not be considered for this examination of CTET. The request for change of examination city will not be accepted in any case. 

It may also be noted that if the total capacity is full in a particular city while filling on-line application, the candidate has no right to claim for the allotment of examination centre in that particular city and Board will not be responsible for it. So the candidates are advised to complete their application process without waiting for last date.

Method of Submission of Online Application Form:

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in .

 STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.

STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration Number/ Application 

Number.

STEP 4:Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature

STEP 5: Pay examination Fee by debit/credit card/Net Banking

STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference. 

Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page for record and keep it for their reference. The Confirmation Page is not required to be sent to CTET Unit.

VALIDITY PERIOD OF CTET CERTIFICATE:

The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score

Eligibility

1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

2. Candidates should have passed with at least 50% of marks either B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home  Science)/ BBM/BBA/ B.E/B.Tech. 

3. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PWD should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

4.The students who wish to take admission in B.Ed. with  B.E/B.Tech must have Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects. 

5. B.C.A. candidate must pass Intermediate with concern subjects to opt the Methodology. 

6. The Candidates who completed (passed) the qualifying examination by May/June, 2022 are alone eligible.

7. The candidate do not have required percentage of marks in Undergraduate, the marks secured in Post-Graduation will be considered (If he/she studied relevant subject at PG) 

8. Apart from the above, the candidates must fulfil any one of the following conditions as per NCTE-2014 Regulations.

i. Should be Trained in-service Teachers in Elementary Education (NCTE recognised Teacher Training programme completed.

ii. Should have completed NCTE recognised Teacher Education programme in Elementary Education through face-to-face mode (TTC/D.Ed./ D.El.Ed./ B.El.Ed./ TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed/D.P.Ed.-Qualification is must). 

9. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue. 

10. EWS quota seats will allotted to the eligible candidates on production of the relevant  certificates/documents.    

11. Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st July 2022. There shall be no upper age limit.   

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION

The medium of instruction is Telugu. A student should write the answers in Year-end- Examination, Assignments and Records, Teaching Practice and Practical Lesson Records only in Telugu. 

Tuition Fee

 

The Tuition fee is Rs. 40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only) for the entire programme of two years. The total Tuition fee has to be paid at the time of admission in a single payment through ONLINE. Examination Fee has to be paid as per the norms of the University.

DURATION OF THE COURSE

Minimum period to complete the programme is 2 Academic years.

Maximum period to complete the programme is 4 Academic years.

If any student unable to complete the programme with in Maximum period readmission will be given as per the University rules.

Syllabus for Entrance Test

Test Question Paper will have 3 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective type (Multiple Choice) questions. 

Part-I:   General English Comprehension (25 Marks) 

Part-II: Proficiency in Telugu (25 Marks) 

Part-III: General Mental Ability (50 Marks)

Mode of Entrance Test 

Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode]. (Entrance Test will be conducted in Telugu Language (Medium) only)

Registration to appear for the Entrance Test

A) Pay the Registration fee and Register through University portal www.braouonline.in 

B) Candidates has to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only). S.C/ST/PWD candidates has to pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online on or before 22-05-2023. 

C) Applications may submit on or before 28-05-2023 with a late fee of Rs. 500/-

Entrance Test will be held on 06-06-2023 from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM at selected Examination Centres.  The University reserves the right to allot candidates to any other Entrance Test Centre(s) other than their choice in unavoidable circumstances.

STEPS FOR SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION

1. Visit University portal www.braouonline.in 

2. Documents and others details required for submission of Application through Online.

3. Fill the application form ON-LINE based on your certificates/documents. (please verify Model Online Application form and instructions to fill the application ON-LINE in the University portal).  

4. If any wrong information is provided in the application form, it is the responsibility of the applicant only.  

5. After submitting the form, take a print out and pay the registration fee mentioning the reference number of the application. 

6. Registration fee Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and S.C.,/S.T/PWD candidate may pay Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and fifty only) through online. Please obtain receipt for the payment of the fee.  

7. If the candidate fails to pay registration fee and submit the application in time, He /She must pay a late fee of Rs. 500/- till 28-05-2023.  

8. Please keep the printed Application Form and Fee receipt carefully with you for further reference and for submission at the time of Certificates verification. 

9. Make a note that the process of registration to appear for Entrance Test will be possible only after the payment of Registration Fee.

10. Physical submission of Application is not required.

రాష్ట్రంలో గురుకుల డిగ్రీ, జూనియర్‌ కళాశాలల్లో లెక్చరర్లు, ఫిజికల్‌ డైరెక్టర్లు, లైబ్రేరియన్‌ పోస్టులకు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో దరఖాస్తు దాఖలు ప్రక్రియ ప్రారంభమైంది. 

జూనియర్‌ కళాశాలల్లో 2,008 పోస్టులు, డిగ్రీ కళాశాలల్లో 868 పోస్టులకు సమగ్ర ఉద్యోగ ప్రకటనలను గురుకుల బోర్డు వెబ్‌సైట్లో పొందుపరిచింది. ఆన్‌లైన్‌ దరఖాస్తుకు మే 17వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు గడువుగా పేర్కొంది. 

మొత్తం 2,876 పోస్టుల భర్తీకి వెలువరించిన ఈ ప్రకటనల్లో 2,301 పోస్టులు మహిళలకు రిజర్వు అయ్యాయి. అంటే దాదాపు 80 శాతం వారికి దఖలుపడ్డాయి.
